What is Nomostar?
Nomostar is a mobile AI document scanning and translation application developed and operated by Superace Technology Co., Ltd. As a new member of the UPDF family, it supports iOS (phone) and Android. You can use Nomostar to scan, convert files to PDF, and more. It can also translate scanned documents into 12 languages. The app is clutter-free and ad-free.
How do I download and install Nomostar?
You can download Nomostar from the App Store and Google Play.
How do I create a Nomostar account?
The process of creating a Nomostar account is quite straightforward. After you download Nomostar, the app will prompt you to register. You can provide your email address on that page to create an account. We will then email you a login code, which you can use to log in to your account. If you prefer not to use the code each time in the future, you can set a password for your account.
Is Nomostar Free?
Yes, Nomostar has both a free version and premium plans. To use the free version, users need to sign up for an account and log in. The free version allows you to use basic features such as free scanning, but access to AI-powered features requires a premium plan.
How can I activate the Nomostar premium license?
To activate Nomostar premium license, download the app from the App Store or Google Play, register and log in using your email, Apple ID, Google account, or other supported methods, then complete your purchase within the app. Your subscription will be activated automatically immediately after purchase.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. All of our subscription plans will automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. If you do cancel, the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will continue to have access to the paid features until that date. Please follow the subscription cancellation mechanism provided by the app store where you made the purchase, as per their specific instructions and policies.
What system does Nomostar support?
Nomostar is availble for iOS (phone) and Android currently.
Does Nomostar support OCR after scanning files into PDF?
Currently not supported; we plan to roll out this feature gradually in future updates.
Can Nomostar be used across platforms (For example, if I purchase the Pro plan on Android, can I use it on iPhone)?
Yes, if you purchase the Pro plan on Android, your subscription benefits apply to iPhone as well. However, since our cloud service is not yet available, your files cannot currently sync between Android and iPhone devices. We plan to enable cross-platform file access in a future update.
Is it possible to use Nomostar’s scanning function without an internet connection?
Yes, it is possible to use Nomostar’s scanning function without an internet connection. The basic scanning features can operate offline, so you can scan documents even when you are not connected to the web. However, if you wish to use the AI-powered features, an internet connection will be required.
Does Nomostar support batch scanning (scanning multiple pages and combining them into a single multi-page document)?

Can I sync my documents between iPhone and Android?
Currently not supported; we plan to roll out this feature gradually in future updates.
How safe is Nomostar? Will my files be stored?

Do Nomostar use my scans to train your AI?
No, Nomostar does not use your scanned documents to train our AI. Your data remains private and is not utilized for any model training purposes.
Does Nomostar comply with GDPR/CCPA?
